The MINI Challenge was adopted by the National Auto Sport Association as one of their national groups available for participants at all NASA regionals throughout the country.  Unfortunately, due to the continued popularity of the car and high resale values the series was undersubscribed and subsequently dropped.  At some point in the future, when cars become more available, it is quite possible that the series will be revived.
